Kenneth J. Klein
Chief Financial Officer
Kenneth Klein has more than 30 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, analysis, management, auditing and human resources. His career has been focused primarily in healthcare, construction and financial services industries. As Chief Financial Officer at Houston Healthspan, he is responsible for the financial management of its portfolio of life sciences companies. Previously, Kenneth served as Chief Financial Officer and VP of Corporate Development at Nobilis Health, a company that he took public in 2007. Prior to joining Nobilis, Kenneth served for over five years as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Menninger Clinic, one of the nation’s leading inpatient psychiatric hospitals.
Kenneth began his career in 1988 with KPMG Peat Marwick in the audit practice. After KPMG, he held various financial leadership positions with Texas Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Castle Dental Centers. He graduated with a B.S. in accounting from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, and graduated with an MBA and Post Baccalaureate in Accounting from TWU in Houston, Texas.
A licensed CPA, Kenneth is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and adjunct faculty member for various universities in Houston.
